Choco helps restaurants, cafes and bars manage orders with suppliers efficiently.
To get started, download the Choco app and complete the sign up process.
How to log in to Choco
Follow these steps to easily log in to and out of your Choco account, whether you’re using the app or the web version.
Make sure you have downloaded the app and created an account. You can download Choco from App Store or Google Play Store.
If you already have an account with Choco, you can log in to the mobile app and web version using your login credentials.
How to log in to the Choco app
Open the Mobile App: Launch the Choco app on your device.
Select Log In: Tap on the "Log In" option.
Enter Your Details:
Choose your country code and enter your cell phone number.
Enter the code you receive via text message.
Note: When asked to sync contacts, you can choose whether or not to sync them. If you don’t receive a code, please reach out to our customer support.
How to log in to Choco web
Open Your Browser: Go to choco.com.
Select Log In: Click on "Log In" at the top right of the website banner.
Enter Your Details:
Choose your country code and enter your cell phone number.
Enter the code you receive via text message.
If you don’t receive a code, please reach out to our Customer Support.
How to join a team on Choco
After login in, you will be taken to a screen which offers you two sign up options:
Create my business on Choco
Join my team
To join a restaurant that already exists on Choco, select the option “Join my Team”
In the next page you’ll be asked to provide the business name and address of your restaurant*
Once you have filled out the details, select the option “Join Team”
There will be a pre-created message in your text box, select “Send”
Our Customer Support team will respond by connecting you with your team and chats. After you are added, refresh the page to access your connected account.
You will then be all set up and ready to start placing orders!
*If the suggested business is incorrect, select Not You? And you will be transferred directly to our Customer Support team, who will be able to help you to find your restaurant, or answer any questions you may have.
How to add a business location
Adding a business location allows you to easily oversee and manage orderings and teams.
There are two case scenarios in which you might be adding a new business location:
How to add a business if you only manage one business
Here’s how it works:
Open the mobile app
Select Suppliers
Select Settings (⚙️) in the top right
Select Add business
Enter your business name, address and display name
Your business name and address will be shared with your suppliers
Your display name is only visible to you and your team
Select Next
If your business is already on Choco, you must ask someone in your team to add you following this process
Add your supplier and select the check mark to confirm
How to add a business if you already manage multiple businesses
Here’s how it works:
Open the mobile app
Select Add business
Enter your business name, address and display name
Your business name and address will be shared with your suppliers
Your display name is only visible to you and your team
Select Next
If your business is already on Choco, you must ask someone in your team to add you following this process
Add your supplier and select the check mark to confirm

How to add a team member
Add your team members through the Team tab. When working with your team on Choco, you can limit their access to specific chats with suppliers as well as manage their roles and permissions on the platform.
How to add suppliers
Choco works with over 15,000 suppliers globally from a wide range of categories, such as Produce, Meat, Wine, Dairy and Packaging.
Start Adding a Supplier > Tap the “Add supplier” button or any of the placeholders in the lobby.
Search for Your Supplier > Enter the supplier's name in the search bar.
Select the Supplier > Tap on the supplier’s card.
Review the Supplier Profile
Add the Supplier > Tap the “Add supplier” button.
Confirm Existing Relationship:
Choco only connects businesses with existing supplier relationships.
If you are an existing customer, tap “I am an existing customer” to add the supplier.
Congratulations - you successfully added a supplier on Choco!
What if I can’t find my supplier?
You can order from any supplier you are already a customer of via Choco. If you can't find your supplier:
Click the “Add supplier” button.
Fill in the simple form provided.
We will create the supplier in the system, ensuring they receive any orders you send via their preferred channel (Email, WhatsApp, or SMS). This process usually takes up to 1 business day. We’ll notify you via a push notification when everything is ready!
How to add a product in your Order Guide
This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to add products to your Order Guide through various methods: from a supplier’s catalog, by uploading an invoice, manually, or using an Excel template.
Add products from a supplier’s catalog
Click on a supplier chat
Next, click on Start order
You can search for products by category via the search bar (e.g. “Produce”)
Click on a category
Browse the list of products
Click on Add
Add as many as you like
Finally, click on Save changes
To search for products by name via the search bar (e.g. “Carrots”)
Tap the name of the product you are looking for on the search bar
Select the product and click on Add
Finally, click on Save changes
Upload an Invoice
⚠️ Following these steps will add products to your current Order Guide. If you want only the products from your invoice, make sure to delete the ones you no longer need
Click on the card Upload a past invoice or stock-take sheet
Take a photo via the camera or select one you previously took
Upload as many invoices as you want
Click the Send button to trigger the request
We’ll send you a push notification to let you know once the products have been added
Add products manually
These steps are possible only if the supplier allows custom products or if the supplier doesn't have a catalog.
Click on Start Order
Click on Add Product
Click on Manually add products
Type in the name of the product, the unit and optionally Product ID, Price, Par & Category
Click on Add to create the product
Once the product is created, you can click on Add Product to add another one
Add products with the Excel template
You can edit your Order Guide via an Excel template directly on the Webtool.
Click on Start Order
Click on More, top right
Click on Export to download the Excel template
Open the file using Excel or Google Sheets
Manually add the products by entering the product name, unit, and optionally Product ID, Price*, Par and Category
Save the file as a Microsoft Excel format
Click on More, top right
Click on Import. A new window titled Upload Excel template will open on the right
Drag and drop your Microsoft Excel file into the window
The products from the Excel template will now appear in your Order Guide
*The price must be entered in cents, without any dots or commas (e.g., 50€ should be written as 5000) and without including the currency symbol.
Excel template information fields
Below are all the current product information fields that you can include on your excel template.
Information field | Excel tag | What it refers to |
Product name* | product_name | The name of the product that is sent along with your orders to the supplier. |
Unit* | unit | The quantity and measurement at which each product is sold. |
Product ID | externalId | The numeric code identifying the product in your supplier’s catalog. |
Product display name | display_name | The product’s name in your order guide. Only visible to you and your team. |
Price** | price | The product’s custom price to be written as a number without the currency. Only visible to you and your team. |
Currency | currency | The price currency. This should be written as EUR, USD or GBP. |
Par | par | The minimum amount at which a product should be on-hand in your inventory at all times. Only visible to you and your team. |
My category | category | The product’s category in your order guide. Only visible to you and your team. |

Tap "Start Order":
Add Products:
Add the quantity of each product you want to order by tapping the round + symbol.
Tap the “View order” button.
Select your desired delivery date.
Tap "Order" to process it

How to start a Live Chat on Choco Web and Choco App
On Choco Web:
1. Login to your account on Choco Web and find the 'Get Help' button on the bottom left corner of the page.
2. A pop-on screen will open on the right side. Click on 'Send us a message'
3. Start typing your message or select one of the available items in case they match with your request.
On Choco App:
1. Login to your account via the Choco App in your phone and find the 'Get Help' button on the upper left corner of the screen.
2. A pop-on screen will open. Click on 'Send us a message'
