In this article, you can find the steps to manage roles and permissions for your team members.

Before assigning roles and permissions, make sure you have added your team to your business.

Explanation of roles and permissions

Your team members can have different roles and permissions when it comes to doing things on Choco.

Here’s an introduction to what each role entails:

Admin

Staff

Contributor

Edit order guides

Edit team members’ roles

Place orders

Add and remove team members

Contribute to team orders

Do delivery checks

How to view and edit roles and permissions in the Choco app

Once you have added your team members, you can easily view and edit roles and permissions through the team management feature.

Note: only team members with admin role can edit roles and permissions.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Open the mobile app

    • If you have multiple restaurants on Choco, choose which restaurant you are managing

  2. Select Team in the bottom tab

  3. Select Roles & permissions

  4. Select the role for each team member

  5. Select Done

How to view and edit roles and permissions on Choco web

You can also view and edit roles and permissions through the team management feature on Choco web.

Note: only team members with admin role can edit roles and permissions.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Open your browser and go to choco.com

  2. Select Log in on the top right of the website banner

  3. Select Team on the left tab

    • If you have multiple restaurants on Choco, choose which restaurant you are managing in the top left

  4. Select the team member

  5. Select the role

  6. Select Save
