How to add products

There are several ways to add products on Choco:

Select products from your supplier’s catalog

To start adding products, click on the supplier you're adding them for.

If you haven’t already added a supplier, follow the instructions here.

Next, click “Start order”.

If your supplier has uploaded their catalog to Choco, you can search for products by name via the search bar (e.g. “Carrots”), or based on category (e.g. “Produce”).

To add products from a category:

  • Click on a category.

  • Browse the list of products.

  • Tap the “Add” button.

  • Add as many as you like - the more the merrier!

  • Finally, tap “Save changes”.

To search for products by name:

  • Tap on the search bar.

  • Type the name of the product.

  • Tap the “Add” button.

  • Finally, tap “Save changes”.

No catalog? No problem!

If your supplier has not uploaded their catalog to Choco, you can choose between uploading a past invoice or manually adding products via a form.

Upload an Invoice

To add products by uploading a past invoice:

  • Tap the card that says “Upload a past invoice or stock-take sheet”.

  • Take a photo via the camera or select one you previously took.

  • Upload as many invoices as you want - the more the merrier!

  • Click the “Send” button to trigger the request.

  • We’ll send you a push notification to let you know once the products have been added.

To add products manually

  • Tap the card that says “Manually add products”.

  • Type in the name of the product.

  • Select the unit you want to order the product in.

  • Optionally enter the Product ID, Price, Par & Category.

  • Click the “Add” button to create the product.
