What is Autopilot?
Autopilot automatically processes incoming orders and sends them straight to your ERP — no manual review required. It's built to handle orders instantly, with 100% accuracy, regardless of the format they arrive in (email, PDF, EDI, portal, etc.).
Instead of every order passing through a manual review step, Autopilot identifies which orders are safe to send through untouched and routes only the ones that actually need a human eye.
The path to Autopilot
Every order starts in the same place: it comes in and the system checks it against what it already knows about the customer, their products, and their usual ordering patterns.
No-edit orders — orders that match what's already on file — are cleared for Autopilot.
Orders that need edits — for example, a new formatting pattern or a product the customer hasn't ordered before — still need a human to check them before they're approved.
As Autopilot learns more about a customer's ordering behaviour over time, more of their orders become eligible for the no-touch path.
How the two flows differ
Review flow (default for new or unfamiliar orders)
New order comes in
Order is reviewed in the Pending tab
Final review confirms everything looks correct
Order is sent to the ERP
Autopilot flow (for orders Autopilot has cleared)
New order comes in
Review is skipped
Order is sent straight to the ERP
The Autopilot flow removes the manual review step entirely for orders that meet the criteria, while orders that still need attention continue to go through the standard Pending → Final Review process.
When will an order still need review?
Even with Autopilot enabled, some orders are automatically flagged for review rather than sent straight through. Common triggers include:
The order arrives in a new or unrecognized format
The customer orders a product they haven't ordered before
Other details on the order don't match existing records
This ensures that anything unusual is still caught by a human before it reaches your ERP, while routine, expected orders move through instantly.
How to report an Autopilot mistake
It's possible that Autopilot accepts a wrong product sometimes. Should this happen, you can report these mistakes directly on Choco.
Here's how:
Open Choco on your web browser
Click on Orders
Click on Autopilot
Select the order with the wrong details
On the details page, click the Report Error button
A window will open, showing the order file on the left and the Choco order on the right
On the right, adjust the changes as needed and click Submit Changes
If everything on the order is wrong, click Report Entire Order instead
When choosing this options, a window will open. Select the reason for reporting this order and click on Done
