How to add your customers

In this article, you can find the steps to add and invite your customers to Choco.

⚠️ After completing all these steps, if your customer still can't connect, ask them to first check their internet connection (Wi-Fi or 4G). Then, confirm with them which contact details you used to set up their account.

How to add new customers through Choco Web

  1. Click on the Customers tab

  2. Click the Add customer button at the top right.

  3. Fill in the three required fields:

    1. Your customer's name

    2. Their address

    3. Their Customer number

  4. Click Add.

  5. A window will open on the right to add contacts to the Customer. Here you can choose between 2 login methods for the user:

    1. Phone

    2. Email

  6. Fill our the required fields as needed and press Save.

  7. An automatic invitation message will be sent to the details you registered.

✨ Consider sharing instructions with your client so they can start placing orders with you on Choco as soon as they receive the invitation.


How to add users to a customer's account

  1. In the customers tab, find your customer and click on the Notebook icon.

  2. In the pop-up window, click on Add contact.

  3. Select the login method:

    1. Phone

    2. Email

  4. Fill out the Name, Required Phone / Email Field and Optional Phone / Email Field

  5. Click Save


How to send invites to customers through Choco web

⚠️ This feature is not available in the US 🇺🇸

You can also send invites to your customers that are already existing on Choco but haven't placed an order using Choco yet.

  1. In the customers tab, select the customers you would like to invite.

  2. Click on Send multiple invites ✉️ in the top right corner.

  3. Select SMS/Text or Whatsapp as the delivery method.

  4. Click on the Invite customers button to send the invite.


How to invite customers through the Choco App

⚠️ This feature is not available in the US 🇺🇸

  1. In the chats tab, click on Add customer button.

  2. Fill out the three required fields:

    1. Name of your customer

    2. Address of your customer

    3. Their customer number.

  3. Press Add

  4. Now you can add contact details for the customer

  5. Select the login method:

    1. Phone

    2. Email

  6. Fill out the Name, Required Phone / Email Field and Optional Phone / Email Field

  7. Once you've clicked Add the contact will receive the text message by SMS.
