Before trying to add or remove team members, make sure you have admin or staff role. Team members with contributor role are not allowed to add or remove other team members.
How to add a team member to your business
If you have admin or staff role, you can easily add team members to a business. As a contributor, you must ask someone with admin or staff role to change your role to be able to add a team member.
Here’s how it works:
Before opening Choco, add you team member’s cell phone number to your contacts
Open the mobile app
If you have multiple restaurants on Choco, choose which restaurant you are managing
Select Team in the bottom tab
Select Add team member
When asked to sync contacts, select Sync contacts; once you have synced your contacts, you will be able to easily view and search those that are on Choco under Choco contacts and those that are not on Choco under Invite to Choco
Select the person
Assign a role to your team member
If you have admin role, you can assign any role
If you have staff role, you can only assign staff or contributor roles
Select the supplier chats you want to invite your team member to
Select Done
If your team member is on Choco, they will now be part of your team
If your team member is not on Choco, they will receive an invitation to download and sign up
How to remove a team member from your business
If you have admin or staff role, you can easily remove team members from a business. As a contributor, you must ask someone with admin or staff role to change your role to be able to remove a team member.

If you have multiple restaurants on Choco, choose which restaurant you are managing
Select Team in the bottom tab
Select the team member
Select Remove from business
How to add a team member to a supplier chat
If you have admin or staff role, you can easily add a team member to a supplier chat.
As a contributor, you must ask someone with admin or staff role to change your role to be able to add a team member.
Here’s how it works:
Before opening Choco, add you team member’s cell phone number to your contacts

If you have multiple restaurants on Choco, choose which restaurant you are managing
Select Suppliers in the bottom tab
Select the supplier
Select the Settings option (⚙️) on the top right
Select Add team member
When asked to sync contacts, select Sync contacts; once you have synced your contacts, you will be able to easily view and search those that are on Choco under Choco contacts and those that are not on Choco under Invite to Choco
Select the people
Select Done on the top right
If your team member is on Choco, they will now be part of the chat with the supplier
If your team member is not on Choco, they will receive an invitation to download and sign up

How to remove a team member from a supplier chat

How to manage team members on Choco web
If you have admin or staff role, you can manage your team members’ access to a business or a supplier chat through Choco web. As a contributor, you must ask someone with admin or staff role to change your role to be able to do this.
Here’s how it works:
Open your browser and go to choco.com
Select Log in on the top right of the website banner
Select Team on the left tab
If you have multiple restaurants on Choco, choose which restaurant you are managing in the top left
Here, you can remove your team member from your business:
Select your team member
Select the three dots on the top right
Select Remove
You can also manage your team member’s access to a supplier’s chat:
Select your team member
Select and unselect the suppliers in the bottom right to add or remove your team member to the chats
Select Save
