Add and remove team members of your restaurant

In this article, you will find a step-by-step process to manage the team members of your restaurant. To add and remove them in your business and to a supplier chat.

💡 Before trying to add or remove team members, make sure you have admin or staff role. Only users with admin or staff roles can add or remove members or change roles.

How to add a team member

This feature is only available on Choco App.

  1. Add your team member’s cell phone number to your contacts

  2. Click on Team, bottom right

  3. Click on Add Team Member

  4. Click on Contacts and search for the team member direclty in your contacts

  5. Click on Continue

  6. Assign role to your team member and click on Continue

    • Contributor: Check deliveries and contribute to orders

    • Staff: Place orders and replys to messages

  7. Assign supplier chats and click on Continue

How to remove a team member

  1. Click on Team at the bottom right

  2. Select the team member by clicking on the blue arrow on the right

  3. Click on Remove from business


How to add a team member to a supplier chat

  1. Select the supplier

  2. Click on Settings (⚙️) in the top-right corner

  3. Click on click Add team member,

    1. You might need to Sync your contacts, then select the contact you want to sync or select all your contacts

How to remove a team member from a supplier chat

  1. Select the supplier

  2. Click on Settings (⚙️) in the top-right corner

  3. Select the team member by clicking on the blue arrow on the right

  4. Click on Remove from supplier


How to manage team members on Choco web

  1. Click on the Team tab on the left side

  2. Select the restaurant where you want to make modifications

  3. Select the team member you want to modify by clicking on the small blue arrow on the right side

  4. What you can do:

    1. Change the role of the team member: Admin, Staff (place orders and replys to messages) or Contributor (check deliveries and contribute to orders)

    2. Add or remove the team member from a chat with a supplier by clicking on the small square on the right side

    3. Remove the team member from the restaurant by clicking on the three blue dots and then selecting the red Remove option

  5. Once you’ve made the changes, click on the blue Save button in the bottom right corner
