View and edit product information

In this article, you can find the steps to view and edit information about products in your Order Guide. This feature is only available in Choco App.

How to view and edit a product in the Choco app

  1. Select your location.

    • If you have multiple locations on Choco, choose the one you want to manage.

  2. Select the chat with your supplier.

  3. Click on Start to Order

  4. Tap the name of the product in the search bar at the top and click on it

  5. Select Edit product details

    • Editable fields include Display name, My price, Par and My category.

    • Editable fields of custom products also include Product name, Unit and Product ID.

  6. Select Save at the bottom.


Explanation of product information fields

Here’s what every information field of your product information means:

Product name (Mandatory)

The name of the product that is sent along with your orders to the supplier.

Units (Mandatory)

The quantity and measurement at which each product is sold.

Catalog category

The product’s category in your supplier’s catalog.

Product ID

The numeric code identifying the product in your supplier’s catalog.
Can only be edited for custom products.

Catalog price

The product’s price from your supplier’s catalog. Cannot be edited, however, you can add a different price from My price.

Lead time

The days it takes to deliver the product.

This field cannot be edited and is visible only when a supplier has a premium account and chooses to display it.

Cut-off time

The time until which your supplier can receive and confirm an order.

This field cannot be edited and is visible only when a supplier has a premium account and chooses to display it.

Product display name

The product’s name in your order guide. Only visible to you and your team.

My price

The product’s custom price.
​This field allows you to edit prices as they change, without having to upload a new catalog. Only visible to you and your team.

Par

The minimum amount at which a product should be on-hand in your inventory at all times. Only visible to you and your team.

My category

The product’s category in your order guide. Only visible to you and your team.
