In this article, you can find the steps to place an order with a supplier on Choco.
You can order with any suppliers, whether they are using Choco or not.
Make sure you have added a supplier.
You also should have an order guide with the products you can order from your supplier. If you didn't create your order guide, start by viewing your supplier’s catalog to add products to your order guide.
How to place an order on the Choco app
Ordering from suppliers takes just a couple of minutes.
Only team members with admin and staff roles are allowed to order from suppliers. |
Here’s how it works:
Choose products on your order guide

Open the mobile app
If you have multiple restaurants on Choco, choose which restaurant you are managing
Select Suppliers in the bottom tab
Select the supplier
Select the Order option on the bottom right
Select the plus and minus options next to each product to choose the quantity
Use the search bar to find products in your order guide
Product information can be displayed by selecting a product
Product units are displayed on the right under each product’s quantity
Product pars are displayed on the left under each product’s name and can be added by following this process
Product prices are displayed on the left under each product’s name and can be added by following this process
When the supplier requires a minimum order value, this information is displayed under the search bar
Finalize your order

Select the arrow on the bottom right to view your order basket
Request a delivery date by selecting the calendar option (🗓️)
Limitations may occur according to your supplier’s order preferences including delivery days and cut-off times
Leave a comment for your supplier in the second field
You can see your order basket and estimated order total at the bottom
The estimated order total is available only after having added product prices
Select Tap to order
An order confirmation is sent to your supplier
Select the confirmation check mark
Check your order status

You can view your order history with the supplier on the supplier chat, where each card contains the date, ID, status and number of items of an order:

If you have multiple restaurants on Choco, choose which restaurant you are managing
Select Suppliers in the bottom tab
Select the supplier and find the order card in your chat history
Select View details to find further information including the products and quantities ordered
When your order status says Sent, it means that you have sent the order but the supplier hasn’t confirmed it yet
When your order status says Confirmed, it means that the supplier has confirmed it and the order is on its way. You also receive a notification and chat message as soon as the supplier confirms the order.
You can also view your entire order history with any supplier in the orders tab

How to repeat an order
After having placed an order with a supplier, you can easily repeat it without having to select all the products from scratch.
Here’s how it works:

Open the mobile app
If you have multiple restaurants on Choco, choose which restaurant you are managing
Select Suppliers or Orders I the bottom tab
When selecting Suppliers, select the supplier you want to reorder from
Select the order
Select Repeat order
Select the plus and minus options next to each product to choose the quantity
Select the arrow on the bottom right to view your order basket
Request a delivery date by selecting the calendar option (🗓️)
Limitations may occur according to your supplier’s order preferences including delivery days and cut-off times
Leave a comment for your supplier in the second field
View your order basket and estimated order total at the bottom
The estimated order total is available only after having added Product prices
Select Tap to order
An order confirmation is sent to your supplier
Select the confirmation check mark
How to place an order on Choco web
You can also order from suppliers through Choco web.
Here’s how it works:
Choose products on your order guide

Open your browser and go to choco.com
Select Log in on the top right of the website banner
Select Suppliers in the top left tab
If you have multiple restaurants on Choco, choose which restaurant you are managing
Select the supplier
Select Start order on the top right
Select the plus and minus options next to each product to choose the quantity
Finalize your order

Select Checkout on the top right to view your order basket
Request a delivery date by selecting the calendar option (🗓️)
Limitations may occur according to your supplier’s order preferences including delivery days and cut-off times
Leave a comment for your supplier in the second field
Select Submit order
An order confirmation is sent to your supplier
Select the OK on the bottom right to go back to your supplier chat
Check your order status

You can view your order history with the supplier on the supplier chat, where each card contains the date, ID, status and number of items of an order:
