How to resend failed orders

If an order fails to sync to your ERP, you no longer need to wait on support to fix it. You can now resend eligible failed orders directly from the Orders tab in Choco.

✨ This feature will be available from 23 September 2026!

How it works

  1. Go to the Orders tab

  2. Find the order with a Failed integration status in the Accepted Tab.

  3. Check the reason for the failure by

    1. Hovering over the Failed Status on the Accepted Tab

    2. Clicking on the order and checking the Integration Status in the top left corner, hover over it for more information

  4. To resend the order:

    1. Click on the 3 dots on the right hand side of the order summary on the Accepted Tab -> Resend order

    2. Open the order -> Click on Resend next to the Integration Status

  5. Refresh the page to see whether the resend was successful. The status does not update automatically.

💡 Note: To see the integration status of your orders, make sure the Integration status column is displayed. If it isn't visible, open Edit Table and add it from there.

What counts as an "eligible" order

In general, any order with a failed integration status can be resent. However, whether a resend actually succeeds depends on your specific ERP setup, so results can vary between distributors.

Before you resend, check the error message shown on the order. Hover over the Failed status to see it. It explains why the order failed and is the best guide to what to do next:

  • Temporary or one-off issues (for example, a connection timeout) — resending will often work.

  • Issues with the order itself or its setup (for example, missing or invalid details) — resending won't help until the underlying problem is fixed.

There are many possible reasons an order can fail, so the error message is always the most reliable starting point.

What happens after a successful resend or an edit

  • If the order is sent to your ERP successfully, its integration status updates to reflect the successful sync. The dot will turn green and the status will changed to “Synced”

  • If the order is then edited, the status changes to Edit sent. The colour of this status shows whether the edit itself was sent successfully or not, so you can tell at a glance whether the update reached your ERP.

    • Green = Edit successfully sent

    • Red = Edit send failed, check the error message

Good to know

  • Resend eligibility depends on your ERP setup. Not every failed order will succeed on resend, check the error message first.

  • Bulk selection is limited to the current page. If you select all orders, only the orders shown on that page are selected, not every failed order in your account. To resend more, change your rows-per-page setting or repeat the action on each page.

  • Statuses don't update in real time. After resending, refresh the page to see the latest result.

  • The Integration status column isn't shown by default. Enable it via Edit Table if you don't see it in your Orders view.
