How to add products to a chat (with no supplier catalog)
You can add custom products to your order guides when you know your supplier sells that item.
Note: adding custom products is only possible if the supplier has enabled this option.
Here’s how it works:
Open the mobile app
If you have multiple restaurants on Choco, choose which restaurant you are managing
Select Suppliers in the bottom tab
Select the supplier in question
Select Start Order
If there are no products in the order guide:
Select Start Order
If you would like to upload a photo or file containing your product list, select Upload a past invoice or stock-take sheet, and follow the instructions
If you would like to add your products manually, select Manually add products and then provide the requested product details
Type the product information
Product name and unit are mandatory
Product ID is recommended to avoid mistakes
If there are already products in the order guide:
Select Start Order
Select Add Product
If you would like to upload a photo or file containing your product list, select Upload a past invoice or stock-take sheet
If you would like to add your products manually, select Manually add products
Type the product information
Product name and unit are mandatory
Product ID is recommended to avoid mistakes
2. How to remove products from a chat (with no supplier catalog)
Custom products can be edited and removed anytime by selecting them from your order guides
Here’s how it works:
Open the mobile app
If you have multiple restaurants on Choco, choose which restaurant you are managing
Select Suppliers in the bottom tab
Select the supplier in question
Select Start Order
Select the three small dots in the top right corner
Select Edit List
OR
Select a product and hold for 2 seconds
Select the products that you would like to remove
Select the “Delete” icon in the top right
Confirm your choice
3. How to add custom products on Choco Web
You can also add a catalog or custom product to your order guide using Choco Web.
Note: adding custom products is only possible if your supplier has enabled this option.
Open your browser and go to choco.com
Select Log In on the top right of the website banner
If you have multiple restaurants on Choco, choose which restaurant you are managing
Select the supplier in question
Select the Edit Order Guide option on the top right
Select the Add Product option on the top right
Search/browse your suppliers catalog and select the Add Custom Product option on the bottom left
Type the product information (product name and unit are mandatory, product ID is recommended to avoid mistakes)
Before confirming, select the Add Another option if you wish to keep adding custom products
Select Create
Note: You will have to refresh the page to see the item in your order guide
4. Remove Products on Choco Web
Follow steps 1-6 for Add Products on Choco Web
Click on the three vertical dots next to the product you wish to remove and select Delete Product
If you want to update many products at once, you can edit an Excel version of the order guide
Click on the three vertical dots next to Add Product
Select Export .xlsx to download an editable copy of your order guide
Once you’ve completed your updates, select Get Help in the bottom left of Choco Web to send along a message with the revised list to Choco Support for Choco to upload for you
If you want to delete your entire order guide, select Delete product list from the vertical dots next to Add Product
Caution! Delete product list is final and cannot be undone. At least export a copy of your order guide first just in case!
Your order guide is now updated!
